Hi, I’m Holly!

I am a professional body piercer based at Venus in Furs Tattoo Studio in Dublin City Centre, with seven years of experience in safe, ethical, and inclusive body piercing.

My work is rooted in honouring the queer origins of Western body piercing, creating a space that centres community, accessibility, and care over profit. While running a business means sustainability matters, my true focus is on providing verified high-quality jewellery and aseptic, safe procedures for everyone who comes through my door.

Piercing is where my passions for creativity and science meet. I am dedicated to continuous learning, researching emerging techniques, evolving standards, and staying up to date on best practices in infection prevention and control. As a queer and neurodivergent practitioner, building a safe, affirming, and inclusive environment is at the core of everything I do.

I exclusively stock jewellery from companies that supply verifiable mill certificates, ensuring the materials used are safe, compliant, and genuinely high quality. While I am not a member of the Association of Professional Piercers, my goal is to meet or exceed their standards wherever possible.

To maintain the highest level of safety, I work with a fully disposable setup. Every instrument is used only once, which dramatically reduces the risk of bloodborne pathogens and protects the clean, controlled environment I take pride in maintaining. Where possible, I choose biodegradable or recyclable products to balance safety with environmental responsibility.
