My name is Holly!

Located in Venus in Furs tattoo studio in Dublin City centre and with 7 years of experience.

My aim is to create a space in which we can return to the queer roots of Western body piercing. Over the years, the industry has veered more towards a very capitalist mindset, putting profit over all else. My goal is to provide high quality verified jewellery, and a safe and aseptic piercing procedure at a more accessible level. Profits are what will keep my business running, but they are not my end goal.

My journey in the piercing industry has been a blend of passion and science, where I've been fortunate enough to turn one of my special interests into a rewarding career. I am committed to lifelong learning, continually researching the latest techniques in piercing, as well as staying at the forefront of infection prevention and control. I am queer and neurodivergent, and take great pride in creating a safe and inclusive environment for my clients.

Regarding jewellery, I will only stock pieces from companies with verifiable mill certificates. Although I am not a member of the Association of Professional Piercers, it is my goal to adhere to the highest standards that I possibly can to ensure your safety.

I operate using a fully disposable set up, by working this way I can heavily reduce the risk of any blood borne pathogens entering the environment that I work extremely hard to maintain. This also means that each piece of equipment that I use will very strictly only be used once. In order to keep environmental waste to a minimum, I use biodegradable and recyclable products where possible.
